How it works
Live values and daily curves of all devices in one place, plus an anonymised map showing what your neighbourhood, your city and your state are producing and consuming right now. Today through an open Home Assistant connector, soon also through the Crowdergy Box as a plug-and-play solution for households that want to do without their own smart home.
Switch devices on and off straight from the app, choose your wallbox’s charging mode, set charge limits for your battery — no configuration menus, no scripting. On request, Crowdergy AI takes over the fine-grained scheduling by electricity price and solar forecast.
Crowdergy AI automatically shifts charging, heating and storage into the cheapest hours and into your own solar window — so you use more of your own electricity and pay less to the grid. Per device you only release the leeway you want to allow, for example “my wallbox may charge between 0 and 11 kW within the next window”.
Outlook: Later we will bundle your released flexibility anonymously with your neighbours’ and pass it on to grid operators so they can keep the power grid stable. For every quarter hour in which your device contributes you should then receive Crowdergy Coins (CCs) — a platform currency intended to become redeemable for real electricity tariffs.
Your savings
You keep your electricity tariff. Crowdergy gets the savings independently of your supplier out of your own system: from better control, from your grid operator’s §14a grid-fee reduction and — soon — from remunerated flexibility.

Crowdergy AI shifts charging, heating and storage into your solar window and the cheapest hours. The savings coach continuously shows you how much each setting brings — as the difference of real optimisations, not as a marketing promise.
For controllable heat pumps, wallboxes and batteries your grid operator charges a reduced grid fee under §14a EnWG (German Energy Industry Act) — via its own control box. Crowdergy keeps your devices within its limits, uses cheap grid-fee time windows and will connect to the control box directly.
We bundle your released flexibility anonymously with your neighbours’ and make it available to the grid — your preferred temperature stays untouched. For every contribution you should be remunerated, as Crowdergy Coins.

You stay in control
Crowdergy only switches your devices if you have explicitly enabled Crowdergy AI for them. You can end the AI optimisation at any time or disable it for individual devices. All data stays in Germany at all times, GDPR compliant; app and connector code are open on GitHub.
